As the flagship product heavily launched by the Voyah brand in 2026, Voyah Taishan X8 2026 has established a new benchmark in the high-end full-size SUV market with its highly recognizable family design language and class-surpassing product strength. This luxury plug-in hybrid model showcases luxury quality and a technological atmosphere beyond its segment from exterior to interior, redefining the standards of large Chinese-brand SUVs.

Exterior Design

Moving to the front fascia, Voyah’s signature waterfall-style grille instantly captures attention. As a plug-in hybrid model, the Taishan X8 cleverly adopts a semi-open grille design, which not only fully satisfies the cooling requirements of the range extender, but also gives the entire front end a majestic and powerful visual effect. Inside the grille are vertically arranged blackened trim strips, effectively enhancing the visual height of the front fascia, while the outer frame is outlined with thick chrome accents, creating a strong and robust contour. The centrally embedded Voyah brand logo supports an illuminated effect and automatically lights up when unlocking the vehicle, adding a strong sense of ceremony to daily vehicle use.

The headlight cluster adopts the current mainstream split-type design. On the upper section is a full-width daytime running light extending across the entire front end, with the light strip stretching from both sides of the grille to the edges of the front fascia. The internal matrix-style LED light sources appear refined and delicate when illuminated, delivering a strong sense of technology. The lower main headlights are equipped with full LED projector lenses and support adaptive high and low beams as well as automatic headlights, automatically adjusting the lighting mode according to road conditions and greatly improving nighttime driving safety.

Looking at the side profile, the Voyah Taishan X8 measures 5200×2025×1814mm, with a wheelbase reaching 3090mm. The standard full-size SUV proportions provide a solid foundation for a spacious interior. The short front and rear overhang design makes the body lines appear slender and dynamic, while a sharp waistline extends from the front fender all the way to the rear, further enhancing the vehicle’s visual length. The semi-hidden “Star Picking” door handles combined with blackened A/B pillars not only effectively reduce aerodynamic drag, but also make the side profile cleaner and more refined.

The vehicle comes standard with 21-inch Tiandi Xingxuan wheels, while higher-end models offer 22-inch multi-spoke wheels paired with striking red brake calipers, adding a strong sporty atmosphere to the stable body design. In addition, the electric welcome side steps and intelligent power doors make entering and exiting the vehicle more premium and convenient. Thanks to the four-wheel-at-corner layout and the bidirectional 16° rear-wheel steering technology, this 5.2-meter-long full-size SUV achieves a turning radius of only 5.4 meters, making U-turns and parking in the city as flexible as a compact car, completely overturning the traditional perception that large SUVs are bulky and difficult to drive.

Turning to the rear, the Voyah Taishan X8 continues the grand styling of the front fascia. The overall rear design is sculpted and full-bodied, with a clean and restrained layout free from excessive decorative elements, ensuring timeless appeal. A moderately sized roof spoiler is installed above the rear, integrating a high-mounted brake light. Aerodynamic guide structures are also added to both sides of the spoiler, which not only optimize airflow during high-speed driving, but also add a touch of sportiness to the rear design, perfectly integrating with the vehicle’s overall styling language.

The taillights adopt Voyah’s latest full-width LED design, with the light strip extending continuously from left to right. The smoked treatment gives it a more premium appearance, while the internal matrix-style light sources provide extremely high recognition when illuminated, making it instantly recognizable as a Voyah vehicle at night. Both ends of the taillight extend downward and naturally connect with the side waistline, further enhancing the vehicle’s overall visual integration.

Interior and Space

Stepping into the cabin, the Voyah Taishan X8 features a minimalist symmetrical interior layout. Large areas of soft-touch materials provide a tactile and visual quality comparable to million-dollar luxury vehicles. The interior is available in three color schemes: Zitan, Chicheng, and Xuesong. Combined with the active ambient lighting system and 256-color adjustment function, the lighting effects can be switched according to different scenarios and moods, creating an immersive luxury driving and riding experience.

In terms of technology configuration, the new vehicle is equipped with dual 15.6-inch HarmonyOS Cockpit 5.2 connected screens, a 55-inch AR-HUD, and a 21.4-inch roof-mounted entertainment screen. Together with the 29-speaker concert-hall-level audio system and Qualcomm 8155 chip, the infotainment system operates smoothly and responsively, supporting four-zone voice interaction and full-vehicle OTA upgrades, bringing passengers rich entertainment functions and convenient control experiences.
