Exterior Design Highlights
The Huawei SAIC H5 features a plunging closed front fascia, with a prominent “nose” combined with upward-slanting “L”-shaped headlights on both sides, creating a highly aggressive look. The triangular blacked-out air intakes at the bottom are outlined with “C”-shaped lines, paired with a large black trapezoidal lower grille and chrome front skid plate, enhancing the visual impact of the front. A LiDAR sensor is visible on the roof, and the vehicle is equipped with Huawei Qian Kun ADS 4, supporting high-speed/city navigation assistance and automatic parking. The air intake also integrates the “Smart Driving Blue Light,” highlighting the vehicle’s technological sophistication.
Body & Dimensions
The SAIC H5 measures 4780/1910/1664 (1657) mm in length, width, and height, with a 2840 mm wheelbase, slightly smaller than the AITO M5 (4785/1930/1625 mm, 2880 mm wheelbase). The side profile features a fastback silhouette with an upward-sweeping three-dimensional waistline for a dynamic appearance. Chrome accents and 20-inch multi-spoke wheels add a touch of luxury, balancing sportiness with refinement.
Rear Design
The rear of the SAIC H5 has a full, multi-layered shape, with a through-type taillight that echoes the horizontal chrome strip on the rear bumper, widening the visual effect. The black diffuser at the bottom, combined with circular airflow fins, further emphasizes the sporty character.
Smart Interior
Inside, the SAIC H5 is equipped with a floating central touchscreen and an embedded full LCD instrument cluster, similar in layout to the AITO M5. It also features a star-ring light scattering element and HUAWEI SOUND audio system for an immersive audiovisual experience. The steering wheel has been upgraded to a new dual-spoke design, paired with an electronic shift lever. The hollowed-out secondary instrument panel area includes air vents, a row of chrome physical buttons, 50W wireless fast charging, dual circular cup holders, and a split armrest box, offering both practicality and premium feel.
