Exterior Design

The 2026 NIO ES8 continues the latest design style of the NIO ET9 with refined details. The daytime running lights are more robust and sharp compared to the current model, and the headlights on both sides of the front bumper have also been redesigned, making the overall look sharper. Notably, the hood of the new NIO ES8 adopts a different structure from before, likely optimized based on the ONVO L90, providing a more convenient user experience. At the same time, the front bumper has been redesigned, significantly enhancing the vehicle’s recognition.

Body and Dimensions

On the side, the 2026 NIO ES8 adds two lateral solid-state LiDARs, paired with newly designed multi-spoke wheels and chrome side skirts, further highlighting its luxury feel. In terms of dimensions, the new car is 5280mm long, 181mm longer than the 2025 model, over 2010mm wide, 1.8m high, with a wheelbase extended to 3130mm. This not only provides a stronger visual presence but also creates a more spacious and comfortable interior.

Rear Design

At the rear, the 2026 NIO ES8 features a full-width through-type taillight design, complementing the larger body size and highlighting the flagship SUV’s stability and grandeur. The roof adds a new luggage rack design, enhancing practicality and elevating the overall sense of quality.

Interior and Technology

Inside, the new NIO ES8 changes the center console screen from vertical to horizontal, with significantly increased screen size and resolution, improving both visual effect and user experience. The vehicle also features an integrated electronic gear lever, with more practical storage space under the console, creating a simpler and cleaner atmosphere. Notably, the center console area also incorporates an ultra-long “Skyline” screen, following the design of the NIO ET9, along with diffuse ambient lighting, creating a strong sense of technology and intelligence.
