The exterior design of Geely Galaxy L7  adopts a split headlight group with a closed front face style, which is also a relatively unique design for new energy vehicles. Geely Galaxy L7 also adopts the Galaxy Ripple aesthetic design concept, and Geely Galaxy L7 has become the only model in the same class with a fully enclosed air intake grille, which makes Geely Galaxy L7 look more like a pure electric car. In terms of body size, although Geely Galaxy L7  is positioned as a compact SUV, the size of the whole vehicle has reached the level of a medium-sized SUV. The length, width and height are 4700mm, 1905mm and 1685mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2785mm, which is longer than the BYD Song PLUS of the same level, making the internal riding space larger and more comfortable. The 2024 Geely Galaxy L7 is equipped with front side airbags, front and rear head air curtains, and co-pilot top airbags to protect the occupants in the car at all times.

In terms of power system, Geely Galaxy L7 is a plug-in hybrid SUV. The whole series is equipped with Thor Electric Hybrid 8848 “three-speed variable frequency electric drive” technology, using a 1.5T turbocharged engine + motor combination, and it is also the world’s first intelligent electric drive system to achieve P1+P2 dual-motor overclocking drive. The system’s comprehensive power reaches 287kW, and the acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers is only 6.9 seconds, and it supports the launch start mode.
