Exterior Design

The 2026 Changan CS55 PLUS delivers a stunning and highly recognizable exterior. Its interstellar cube front face, especially the parametric borderless grille composed of multiple diamond-shaped units forming a dynamic gradient matrix, creates a flowing water ripple effect under light, emphasizing three-dimensional texture. With the removal of the traditional chrome frame, the grille seamlessly blends with the body color, enhancing the imposing visual width of 1868mm. The innovative three-level nested lighting design is ingenious: each side has 12 C-shaped LED daytime running lights, a 1.2-meter through-type light strip, and shield-shaped main headlights, all perfectly integrated and supporting welcome flowing light effects, maximizing the technological feel. Hidden millimeter-wave radar under the lower grille achieves a balance between functionality and aesthetics. The real airflow channels on both sides of the front bumper, paired with the wind-blade front lip, reduce drag and give the car a strong sporty impression.

Side Profile

Sharp side lines with dual waistlines are crafted using acute-edge stamping technology. The upper waistline runs through the front and rear lights, while the lower rib expands outward at the wheel arches, creating a solid, robust feel. Mechanical door handles are retained, while door trim panels are replaced with integrated stamping, adding a premium touch. Overall dimensions are optimized: length 4550mm (+11mm), width 1868mm (+3mm), height 1675mm (-5mm), wheelbase remains 2656mm. Although window areas are moderate, the wide floating D-pillar paired with a 0.8-meter extended side window chrome strip enhances visual continuity.

Rear Design

The rear is full-bodied and substantial, with a 28° rear window slope and spoiler airflow channel effectively reducing the rear pressure zone. The through-type wide darkened tail lights are refined and prominent, providing high nighttime recognition. The rear bumper resembles a diffuser and features dual hexagonal chrome exhaust outlets (actually hidden), further emphasizing the sporty atmosphere.
