The front face design of the BYD Song Pro DM-i 2026 is completely new. The vehicle incorporates the new generation of dragon-face aesthetic design language, which closely resembles the previously unveiled Song L EVÂ concept car. Thanks to the enhancements of the DM 5.0 system, the size of the air intake grille has been further reduced. The rough silver trim features an embossed logo engraved with the word “Song,” which shines brightly, while the “C”-shaped trims on both sides of the front face are sharp and fang-like, adding a touch of dominance to the overall appearance. Additionally, the full LED headlight assembly has undergone an innovative redesign. The previous “777” daytime running lights have been replaced by the dragon beard light strip, similar to that of the Qin L, and the structure of the high and low beam lights has been upgraded from the original reflective bowl to a dual-light lens, providing improved lighting effectiveness.
In terms of size, the dimensions of the BYD Song Pro DM-i 2026 are 4735mm in length, 1860mm in width, and 1710mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2712mm. Compared to the current model, the new car has a slightly shorter body length (reduced by 3mm), while the other dimensions remain unchanged. This body size is quite impressive in the compact SUV segment. The side profile continues the smooth lines of the current model, but the window edges feature a new blackened treatment that creates a visual effect of a floating roof. Additionally, the BYD Song Pro DM-i 2026 offers a new style of silver trim and sporty wheels as optional features to meet the personalized needs of different consumers.
