As part of its annual update, the BYD Dolphin 2026 continues to showcase its classic exterior design. The front retains a closed air intake grille, cleverly integrated with a black decorative panel and embellished with chrome trim strips, adding a touch of refinement. The smoked headlights on either side are closely connected to the grille, creating strong visual coherence. The lower surround features a three-stage layout, with cleverly designed vertical triangular aerodynamic guide grooves on the fenders, and a wide trapezoidal air intake at the bottom. The interior of the front design is accentuated with banner-style elements, providing clear layers and enhancing the three-dimensional effect.
On the side, the BYD Dolphin 2026 Compact Sedan features a smooth roofline with a distinct arc, creating a floating roof effect. The overall contour is rounded and slightly cute, with a waistline that rises gently from front to back, employing a through-type design to emphasize the layered changes along the sides. The wheel arches and side skirts are outlined with raised lines, giving a strong muscular appearance, while the five-spoke low-drag wheel design adds a stylish and dynamic touch.
In the rear, the BYD Dolphin 2026 EV is equipped with a large roof spoiler to enhance aerodynamic performance. The through-type smoked taillight group visually widens the back of the car, while the trapezoidal concave license plate frame at the lower surround cleverly echoes the fang-like decorative elements on either side.
