2026 BYD Yuan UP

The BYD Dynasty Series Yuan UP has expanded its lineup with the addition of the 301KM Navigation Edition. Targeting the “high configuration from entry” concept, the new model also introduces two new Yuan UP colors  Vibrant Beige and Gentle Purple  further enhancing its youthful positioning and broadening its appeal in the compact electric SUV segment.

The primary update in this new version lies in its range. Designed specifically for urban commuters with short daily travel distances, the 301KM Navigation Edition offers around 300 km of CLTC range  sufficient for a week or even longer of regular use. At the same time, the BYD Yuan UP price has dropped significantly, improving accessibility. Compared to similarly priced electric hatchbacks, the Yuan UP  as a compact SUV  naturally offers advantages in terms of space and safety.

Despite the lower price point, the new Yuan UP EV still offers a comprehensive feature set, including automatic climate control, rear AC vents, the DiLink intelligent infotainment system, VTOL mobile power station, a 360° panoramic camera system, and dual front airbags  fully meeting the needs of everyday use.

In terms of dimensions, the BYD Yuan UP specs also outperform many rivals in its class. With a length of 4310 mm, width of 1830 mm, height of 1675 mm, and a wheelbase of 2620 mm, the Yuan UP provides generous interior space. The rear seats can be folded down in a 40/60 split, and the maximum trunk capacity reaches up to 1320 liters, making it suitable even for short camping trips.

As an SUV, the Yuan UP also features higher ground clearance, allowing it to handle unpaved roads with greater ease. Combined with ample power reserves and a compact 5.25-meter turning radius, it stands out as a versatile and easy-to-drive urban SUV that offers both practicality and maneuverability.
