2026 BYD Sealion 06 EV

The new car continues BYD’s signature Ocean Aesthetics design language, featuring smooth, flowing body lines that create a powerful and dynamic profile. Combined with a highly original lighting design, the Sea Lion 06 exterior offers a striking and easily recognizable appearance. In terms of color options, the 2025 BYD Sealion 06 colors include five choices, such as Warm Sun White and Cloud Sea Gray, catering to a variety of personal style preferences.The interior also follows the ocean-inspired design philosophy, adopting a “dual-floating” layout integrated with the dashboard, door handles, and an electronic column-mounted shifter. The BYD Sealion 06 interior is equipped with power-adjustable front seats, front seat heating and ventilation, electric lumbar support, and a dual-mode refrigerator that operates from -6°C to 50°C  combining comfort with practicality.

In terms of size, the BYD Sealion 06 dimensions are 4810mm × 1920mm × 1675mm with a wheelbase of 2820mm. It offers a spacious 757L rear trunk, while the EV version adds a 142L front trunk, providing ample cargo space.

As expected from BYD, the Sealion 06 delivers excellent range performance. Built on the advanced e-Platform 3.0 Evo, the Sealion 06 EV is available in two versions offering 520 km and 605 km of range, making weekly charging sufficient for most daily commutes.

Safety and driving comfort are also prioritized. The Sealion 06 SUV comes standard with the Cloud-P Intelligent Damping Body Control System and TSC High-Speed Tire Blowout Stability System, along with an upgraded five-link rear suspension, ensuring a stable and secure driving experience.

One of its standout features is the intelligent driving system. All models come standard with the “DiPilot 100  Trinity Eye C” advanced driver assistance system, featuring 29 sensors including triple front cameras, side and rear cameras, and millimeter-wave radars. The system supports high-speed navigation assist, full-scenario intelligent parking, and more  placing the Sealion 06 at the forefront of the L2+ smart driving category.
