The front of the Chery Jetour Traveller bears some resemblance to that of the Tank 300, featuring a wide and robust design. The pronounced bulge in the middle of the hood enhances its muscular appearance. The large center grille below is not only fitted with a honeycomb pattern but also decorated with a black trim in the center. Combined with the illuminated letter logo inlay, the brand recognition significantly improves when the lights are on. The headlights, connected to the center grille on both sides, are intricately designed, and the split matrix shape adds a unique touch. The protruding, three-dimensional lower bumper is large and, along with the fog lamps and tow hook design on both sides, intensifies the off-road vibe.
The overall shape of the Chery Jetour Traveller’s body is a boxy, square design. The flat roof is complemented by a slender luggage rack, emphasizing its off-road orientation. The through-type windows, combined with the smoked A-pillar and D-pillar, create a floating roof effect with an attractive, distinctive visual appeal. The raised through-type waistline of the doors, combined with the outwardly flared design of the front and rear fenders, adds to its robust look, with the wheel arches inlaid with prominent smoked trim strips.
In terms of dimensions, the Chery Jetour Traveller measures 4785mm in length, 2006mm in width, and 1880mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2800mm. These impressive dimensions make the interior space of the vehicle very spacious, easily accommodating the needs of daily family use. While the new vehicle features a non-load-bearing body, making it more suited to comfortable urban commuting rather than extreme off-road conditions, its design remains comparable to that of the Tank 300. Additionally, the irregular square spare tire cover at the rear adds a unique touch, and the side-opening tailgate is a standard feature for hard-core off-road SUVs.
