The new Model Y SUV continues with front and rear dual-motor configuration, delivering a total output of 331 kW and 559 Nm of torque. The officially announced 0–100 km/h acceleration time is 4.3 seconds. Equipped with a new battery system and paired with 19-inch wheels, the CLTC-rated range has increased from 719 km to 750 km, offering improvements in both range and performance.
The exterior features a sloping front design combined with a full-width light strip and split matrix LED headlights for a highly recognizable look. New Tesla Model Y dimensions are 4797/1920/1624 mm, with a 2890 mm wheelbase. The overall profile follows a coupe-style SUV design, featuring frameless doors, hidden door handles, and multi-layer sound-insulating glass. Privacy glass is also used for the rear side windows. At the rear, a C-shaped full-width taillight integrates with diffused reflection elements. In addition, 2025 Tesla Model Y colors include five paint options, such as Quicksilver.
Tesla Model Y interior eliminates the traditional gear selector in favor of screen-based shifting, and includes a backup touch control shifter near the roof reading light area. The center console features a 15.4-inch floating touchscreen, running Tesla’s proprietary infotainment system, supporting connectivity, OTA updates, smartphone app remote control, and voice recognition functions.
As for seating, both front seats support electric adjustment with heating and ventilation. Rear seats support electric heating, power folding, and backrest angle adjustment. Tesla Model Y AWD offers a trunk capacity of 822L, which can be expanded to 2022L with the rear seats folded down—providing ample space.
