2026 BYD Sealion 06 DM-i

As the first model under BYD‘s Ocean Network to be launched simultaneously in both plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions, the BYD Sealion 06 DM-i. The Sealion 06 exterior maintains a cohesive design language, featuring a semi-closed front fascia and split headlights. The combination of cool white and warm gold dual-tone lighting, along with a full-width taillight, high-mounted brake light, and rear spoiler, gives the vehicle a highly distinctive and recognizable appearance.

The Sealion 06 dimensions are 4,810 × 1,920 × 1,675 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. It comes equipped with 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, semi-hidden door handles, and an active air intake grille, contributing to a low drag coefficient of just 0.28 Cd. Exterior color options include Warm Sun White, Cloud Sea Grey, Smoky Blue, Snowy White, and Ocean Green, while interior choices feature Ocean Grey and Midnight Black to suit different aesthetic preferences.

Inside, the BYD Sealion 06 interior features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a multifunctional capacitive steering wheel, and a column-mounted gear selector. The five-seat layout includes power-adjustable and heated front seats with dual suction ventilation system, and the rear seats offer adjustable backrest angles. When folded down, the rear seats create a flat cargo area of up to 2.36㎡, expanding the trunk space from 757L to a maximum of 1,630L.

As a new “all-rounder” from BYD’s Ocean Network, the Sealion 06 plug-in hybrid is powered by BYD’s fifth-generation DM hybrid technology. Under NEDC conditions, it achieves an ultra-low fuel consumption of just 3.5L/100km when the battery is depleted, and offers a combined range of up to 1,670 km. The chassis adopts a front MacPherson and rear four-link suspension setup, and features EPS electric power steering along with the DiSus-C intelligent damping system, offering millisecond-level response.

In terms of smart driving, the vehicle is equipped with 29 perception sensors and comes standard with the DiPilot 100 “God’s Eye C” triple-camera intelligent driving system, which supports advanced highway and urban assist driving (HNOA), low-speed emergency braking (MEB), and automatic parking (APA).
