Since the launch of the Li Auto i8, it has attracted a large number of consumers. However, market feedback shows that many users found the model lineup somewhat complicated, with limited options for high-end configurations. At the same time, there was strong demand for making the refrigerator a standard feature and for offering the second-row entertainment screen as an optional add-on.

In response, Li Auto quickly adjusted its product strategy by unifying the configuration lineup and designating the Li Auto i8 Max as the standard model. The rear cabin entertainment screen package is also available as an optional add-on, greatly enhancing the overall value and flexibility of the model.

In terms of powertrain upgrades, the Li i8 SUV Standard now comes equipped with a 97.8‑kWh ternary lithium 5C ultra‑fast‑charging battery pack across all trims, delivering a CLTC range of 720 km, a significant improvement over the 90.1‑kWh battery used in the Li i8 Pro. It also features a dual‑motor intelligent all‑wheel‑drive system with Li Auto’s first self‑developed silicon carbide drive motors, producing a combined output of 400 kW for highly responsive performance.

Intelligent driving capability is another highlight. The Li i8 electric car is equipped with LiDAR and an NVIDIA Thor‑U autonomous driving chip with 700 TOPS of computing power, paired with the new MindVLA driving assistance architecture to deliver human‑like interactive driving. It supports City NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), advanced automatic parking, and remote parking functions, effectively reducing driver fatigue and improving both convenience and safety.

In terms of comfort, the Li i8 interior now includes the intelligent hot‑and‑cold refrigerator and second‑row zero‑gravity seats as standard equipment across all trims. Ambient lighting, second‑row sunshades, and privacy blinds create a cozy and private cabin space. A large rear entertainment screen, cup holders, and dual foldable tables further enhance passenger comfort and entertainment.
