2026 Geely Galaxy M9

Geely Galaxy has officially announced that the Galaxy M9 will begin pre-sales on August 23. Positioned as a large plug-in hybrid SUV with a six-seat layout, the model is expected to be priced around CNY 250,000(＄35k USD), targeting competitors such as the Deepal S09, an extended-range large SUV starting at CNY 239,900(＄33k USD).

The Geely Galaxy M9 SUV made its global debut in Milan, Italy, this May. The Galaxy M9 exterior adopts Geely Galaxy’s latest family design language, featuring a closed-off front fascia and a full-width light bar, with a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor. The side profile retains traditional-style door handles, multi-spoke alloy wheels, and chrome trim on the B-pillar, window frames, and lower body cladding for an added sense of presence.

Regarding Galaxy M9 space, the cabin offers 5.2 square meters of interior area, 3.7 meters of usable length, and 1.3 meters of interior height. It supports one-touch adjustment for eight different seating configurations. According to regulatory filings, Galaxy M9 specs are 5,205 × 1,999 × 1,800 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,030 mm, placing it in the large SUV segment, with overall dimensions similar to the Lynk & Co 900 and Deepal S09.

The vehicle uses a 2+2+2 six-seat layout, with dual independent seats in the second row. It features a flat floor for the second and third rows, a ceiling-mounted screen for the second row, a 180 mm cabin aisle, third-row seatbacks with 150° electric adjustment, and large rear quarter windows. The M9 also debuts an AI Digital Chassis, and its AEB system can perform emergency braking from speeds up to 130 km/h.

In terms of features, the Galaxy M9 interior offers a 9.1-liter cooler/warmer box (temperature range from –6°C to 50°C, operable with the vehicle powered off), a 17.3-inch 3K ceiling-mounted display for rear passengers, a 27-speaker premium audio system, fold-out tables for the second row, and second-row seats with ventilation, heating, massage, and an SVIP executive mode.

For power, the Galaxy M9 PHEV is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system combining a 1.5T engine and three electric motors. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum output of 120 kW, while specifications for the drive motors have not yet been disclosed.
